Taleteller’s Talk (10): Wanna purchase something?

Some people are not only selling goods, they are also selling information. But information is seldom as cheap as Chinese souvenirs.

A Sham?

( EWA )

Some take me for the real E-Wa. It’s up to them. Some think I’m a sham, or even a liar. Wow! But I present you with another possibility: Maybe I’m a body double of E-Wa? Know what? Nothing is true. It’s all just a game.

Peter’s Diary (7): Give me a Lift!

The lift lady at the Pearl Tower doesn’t look soooo friendly. But hey, sometimes her job is just as boring as mine. Should I expect her to fall into my arms? Strange idea! I better go back to follow my instructions, and do my job. A job by the way that confronts me with a […]

Bis sich dir - vielleicht

She only spoke one single sentence, which was more a statement of the facts. Facts, which inevitably led to a […]

Looking back Places (4) in the Shanghai Story.

“I did not wish to hear any more from E-Wa about this nerve-wracking situation. I wanted to hear more about Babs. Actually, no, I did not want to hear anything more at all. I just wanted to get away. Away from this filthy basement, crammed full with unseen, mysterious, electronic apparatus, this miserable hole, under […]

Looking back: Items (16) in the Shanghai Story.

“I wondered what would happen if, our ‘oh so cool’ Lin, who conducted himself perfectly, as if he had everything under control, if, after the next turning, he was suddenly catapulted into 1972 and we were confronted with a whole street full of an advancing horde of the Red Brigade? It would probably be pretty […]
